  1. Espresso

It is the most common type of coffee in the world and it is not like any other type we know. It is a fully flavored concentrated form of coffee served in small shots or cups for that matter. The espresso is unique in that it has a froth known as crema. It is reddish brown in color and it gets into shape when the tiny air bubbles mix with flavors and soluble oils from the finely ground coffee beans. Espresso has an alluring aroma and rich flavor associated with the crema formed on top of the coffee shot.

  1. Cappuccino

This is a coffee drink made from espresso and steamed milk. The preparation of this drink is what makes it unique. It is prepared using equal ratios of espresso, steamed milk and frothed milk. This means each ingredient should be a third each. The standard cappuccino doesn’t have a sweetener or flavored syrup. However, you can add them for your own taste.

  1. Latte

Another popular and tasty coffee drink. Most people tend to confuse between a cappuccino and a latte. The latte is a coffee drink made with steamed or scolded milk and a single shot of espresso. The latte and cappuccino are similar but not the same. What sets them apart is they have less foamed milk and more steamed milk. The best latte has at least six ounces of well steamed milk and a single shot of espresso.

  1. Americano/Long black coffee

Depending on how you like it, the long black can be a single or double shot of espresso poured over a cup of hot water. The espresso is poured over hot water to help preserve the crema.
